Very flaky shell with good flavour, the flakes more "crusty" from deep frying than the puff pastry versions. The shell's a rarity.
Exceptional filling (got the chicken version) - curry goodness, mildly spicy, plenty of chicken to match the potato (at a day and age when most curry puff are loaded with mostly potato), lots of browned onion sweetness and aroma.
Apparently they sell curry puff with other fillings: tuna, sardines, potato only.
