I read in the local FC fishwrap that Amasia Bistro on W. Broad St. has closed.
The newspaper tried to blame the failure on a combination of things ranging from lack of municipal help for new businesses to the new restaurants in the new wing of Tysons Corner mall.
Nothing about the fact that the place just wasn't great. The place was always empty long before the new Tysons wing opened and good restaurants don't need help from the locality to survive.
The space is very attractive and someone with the right restaurant will do quite well there.
