Amarone - Boycott - what would you have done? Long---

It's kidphobia in Hell's Kitchen these days...
I know many feel that kids shouldn't be allowed to dine out, but if they are well behaved I don't see a problem. So here's the story... 5:30 Saturday night my husband, our 2 kids (2 & 6mos.)and my husbands brother walked into Amarone for dinner (we've eaten there in the past, never a problem).
We were seated in a room where a party of 15 CACKLING women were seated. The acoustics were not good. We ordered our dinner, a bottle of wine, a few appetizers, 3 entrees, we were talking, our little girl was TALKING we were having a good time.
The waiter comes over shows us the wine, puts the cork into the bottle, and the next thing we know the maitre'd/owner? comes over and tells us that "our children are disturbing the other customers and it's not good for my restaurant"! Mind you their are 15 CACKLING women who are talking non-stop AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS. I told the man that I was insulted and we left. The waiter was SHOCKED when I told him what the man had said. He apologized profusely. It's Monday and I'm still annoyed over this, good thing I have a place to vent!
