Was anyone else troubled by Amanda Hesser's NY Times Magazine piece this week featuring a recipe for Chilean Sea Bass? It's hardly a secret that they are one of the most endangered fish around. Hideously overfished (I know, it's because they are so delicious) and at great risk of disappearing altogether. Many restaurants no longer serve Chilean Sea Bass. Markets like Whole Foods have publicized the issue. I can't believe Hesser doesn't know about it. Either way, I have to say, shame on her.
