I make a lot of preserves, pickles, and the sort. I've been using the classic Ball two-part lid for my jars. However, I am interested in alternatives. Frankly, it's hard to get the lid off the jars, especially when I give jam or pickled beets to my grandmother. I use a water bath to seal my jars. Would a one-part lid like you find on a lot of jams (the ones where the lid "pops" when you open it) work for me? If so, where can I find jars like that?
