Alternative to 10" All-Clad skillet?

I recently ordered a 4110 All Clad skillet. I understand they are not up to the quality of 10 years ago, but is there anything better in the $100 range? It seems every review/test I see still gives the nod to all clad, but then I read how cheap, light, prone to warping, etc. they are. So I'm open to returning if there's better options (will need to be online as I live in the middle of nowhere)

These are great pans. At the same time, you won't want to over think this too much. Many great chefs use pans and pots which are 1/5th the price of All Clad cookware (around $20), let's alone the Mauviel and Demeyere. 

I am not discouraging you from buying these cookware. I just feel like a lot of people think that their cooking will be limited by or hinged on the the cookware. 

More important than brand, it is probably more important to know what kind of skillet you want. Do you have a carbon steel pan or a cast iron pan or a stainless steel clad pan or a straight aluminum pan? What curvature would you like your fry pan has? 

It is like buying an automobile. It is more important to answer the question of "Truck vs Sedan" than "Honda vs GM"

There is nothing wrong with All Clad -- beside the handle of course. I do think Demeyere is a bit better, so if you can get them at the same price, then I would go for a Demeyere. But then Vollrath Tribute or Tramontina will also be good.

I don't know what the quality was 10 years ago, but I've used 10", 12" and 8" AC frying pans for the last 3 years and love them to the point of buying one for my mother too. The 10 gets the most use here, many times a week. No problems at all. You will most likely need to pay shipping to return and will have more expense into an exchange for a problem that may never occur.

Why not buy a second from cookware and more. All of my all clad are seconds and are fine.

So are those Vollrath pans induction compatible? Does anyone know where they are made?

 I'm about 6 weeks from induction, and have yet to make my cookware choices. Have been considering the sensuel line from Ikea:

they have a great feel and balance, but made in china has me hesitating.
