I found another new Hawaiian restaurant here in OC, another L & L type of knock-off, called Aloha Hawaiian BBQ. I ordered my standard item that I usually get to compare the quality to other Hawaiian restaurants, which is the combo plate lunch with BBQ chicken, BBQ beef, and Kalbi short ribs.
Along with 2 scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and a bed of cabbage, this meal was quite tasty, very much on par with your standard L & L franchise. The menu seemed to be about the same, with other items like chicken katsu, BBQ mahi mahi, garlic shrimp, loco moco, and kalua pork, and the pricing of the items is very similar.
It is located at what appears to be the city borders between Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley. I guess that city border is right at Garfield St, as this new restaurant is on the opposite corner of the McDonalds Plaza that has several Japanese restaurants like Shimura and Ebisu. Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is located right between an Arby's and KFC restaurant. Most people will take the Brookhurst exit at Fountain Valley, and travel south to get here.

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you're in the neighborhood and have cravings for a Hawaiian plate lunch, it's a decent option to try out.
