Almond Boneless Chicken aka ABC

Barbarainnc | Jul 22, 201302:13 PM     5

I got the following from the wife of the owner of a Chinese Restaurant, it is now closed. She said to soak the chicken breast in milk, then coat in a mixture of cracker meal, sugar, salt and white pepper. Then fry it. She said the sauce had almond juice, msg, sugar, salt, onion, cornstarch and water. (The sauce was light brown in color and had an almondy taste.) I have no idea what almond juice is?? I got this way before almond milk was popular.

I've looked at other recipes that have almond extract or 1 T of toasted ground almonds in it. Can any one help me out with the sauce???

The local Chinese restaurant, now open, doesn't even have this on their menu.
