Allegria in Boca Raton (formerly Zio's)

Went there last night. Really enjoyed the meal. I wish I had been hungrier so I tried an appetizer but...
They don't have a liquor license and didn't have the wine my husband wanted. They actually offered us a better wine at the same price which was very nice. My DH wanted a green vegetable side and they didn't have it - they ran to the grocery to get it for us. What service. They just opened so were not terribly busy. I asked if they would make me a stuffed veal chop and it was terrific. DH got zuppa de pesce and loved it. We had an Italian cheesecake for dessert and it seemed to float (very light and tasty). All in all a very good meal and we'll be back. The owner is from Naples (Italy not FL) and has had restaurants in the northeast. Linda
