I went to Aliseo on Thursaday, the night before opening day. The place is very rustic and charming. The waiter immediately brought us out some tomato basil and olive pate bruschetta and a basket of wonderful Sullivan Street breads. We than had a lovely plate of cured meats and different Italian cheeses,olives, all super high quality. We also has some sauted radicchio and a wonderful room temp pork loin. Wondeful wine was served, a great tart and a brilliant espresso, the best in the neighborhood. The owner is an intersting fellow and really has passion for food and the relaxed European life style. A great addition to any neighbord.
