Last night a friend and I went to Alex. The place was empty. It was a Tuesday, but still... Alex only has fixed price menus -- the left side is $49 and the right side is $75 (I think). We ordered from the left side but substituted the seared fois gras from the right side for an additional $10. It was well worth it! Fantastic. And so was the rest of the meal. My friend had the lobster ravioli and I had the dorado. We both had the gran marnier souffle. And lots of glasses of Bollinger. Service was excellent. I highly recommend Alex and can't wait to go back.
