man is this place busy. finally tried one of the sandwiches here. and it was good, nice bread, one of those rustic rolls people usual swear by that la brea bakery and places of that ilk carry. smoked turkey with the fixin's with cranbery orange relish on the side. not bad. onion rings were way different than i expected maybe the future of "gourmet" onion rings is happening right now. my friend got the pain de something french toast, regular old frenchy with some nice touches such as a fig walnut chutney (a tad too sweet) and some creme fraiche along with your garden variety maple syrup. also, for dessert, had to try another one of their cakes, this one was not bad" white chocolate macadamia nut cake though not incredible, it seems like in general the yellow layer cakes may be better and much less sweet than the choc layer cakes, though all are in retrospect a few notches too sweet.
