Going to a restaurant tomorrow that doesn't sell alcohol but allows you to bring your own booze from elsewhere. What is my best bet?
I don't think I'm going anywhere special to shop for this meal, so a regional beer from the Mediterranean is out. Perhaps something that's easier to get, or general guidelines for what goes well: light, dark, hoppy, fruity, what am I going for? Last time I was at a Moroccan restaurant the honey beer went well, but I don't know if I can find it at the corner liquor.
Or should I bring a wine? We'll be hanging out at a wine bar before dinner so I plan to ask the shop owners, but I don't want to go in clueless and end up with something bizarre if they know nothing about Moroccan food.
