Albertsons has broasted chicken

Chicken Pie | Jan 3, 200612:01 PM

Just wanted to let you all know that I went to the Albertsons on E. Chapman in Orange and they have broasted chicken there. So does the Vons, but they stop cooking it about 6 pm. The Ralph's just uses a regular fryer.

I would think all the newer Albertson's are the same so they probably all have the broasting machines for the fried chicken.

This one makes a lot at once, so i think mine was sitting for a while and a little dry. Can't wait to get it when its fresher.

The broasting machines looks like a stainless steel clothes waster with a lid. On top of the lid is something that looks like a helicopter rotor with balls on the end. I guess they use this to screw down the lid and make it airtight.

$2.50 for 4 pieces and $4.99 for 8 pieces. What a deal!!!
