Was in Seattle and Vancouver and someone in our party raved about this Alaskan Black Cod. We ordered it several times and it tasted exactly like what we call, down in California, Chilean Sea Bass, which is neither Chilean nor a Sea Bass. It's an oily deep ocean fish that is on the over-fished list. The real name is the Patagonian toothfish.
So is Alaskan Black Cod = Chilean Sea Bass = Patagonian toothfish?
