Aladdin's Cafe- Clark/Diversey

Paul | Jun 9, 200301:33 PM

This place opened a couple of weeks ago and has been packed ever since...

Finally got to try it on Saturday- The Falafel were the best I've had yet in Chicago- They are huge and flavorful- you can make a meal from the appetizer portion alone.

The beef shawarma was nicely seasoned and served over a bed of very fresh mixed greens...

The menu is very extensive ( kind of a Middle-eastern Cheescake Factory!!)...and they do have a dessert case with monster cakes which are definitely not middle-eastern...

I don't know if it's a chain or not- it's sandwiched between Panera and Chipotle....

It will give Cousin's around the corner a run for the Money!!!
