i was blown away by the food, and by the top-tier service at what is basicaly a casual neighborhood restuarant. i haven't had service that good in a long time.
spring salad of favas, peas. string beans, spinach. excellent and delicate.
fava/mint ravioli, explosively delicious, a heaping plateful.
spaghetti alla vongole--gigantic juicy clams,fiery garlicky sauce, the best i've had, maybe ever.
special ribs in a cherry preserve/sherry bbq sauce with shredded cabbage salad--succulent, tender, unbelievably good.
