A friend wanted to try Aja after a few friends exclaimed over the food. Aja serves sushi and general Asian-fusion dishes. So, we went. The food was mediocre and un-inventive, even though one could tell that the chef really tried. The sauces on two dishes tasted the same, even though they were described differently. There was not much fusion to the Asian-fusion dishes. However, the space is lovely and very hip - with a large Buddha at the back of the restaurant. I would come back for drinks to enjoy the atmosphere.
