A few weeks ago there was a thread on this board on airport food, which I thought was great, since people are often stuck at airport with nothing to do and seemingly surrounded by bad food. This happened to me this weekend, so I wanted to report back on my findings. I think this is the appropriate place, rather than a regional board, since anyone can find themselves in a whole variety of airports in one day.
Anyway, Both Oakland, my home airport, and BWI, my destination, seem to have uniformly BAD food.
However, I had a layover in Atlanta, and I was happy to find, in the food court right next to dominoes, a southern cooking place called Pascals. I had the vegetable plate with collard greens, black eyed peas and green beans, served with corn bread, and it was very tasty! They had the usuals such as fried chicken and fish, but I can't report on them other than to say that this vendor seemed very popular, and lots of other people were eating them. This is located in Concourse A.
