Ahhh Too Much on my Plate - NOLA Trip

saradoesmakeup | Jan 18, 201603:17 PM

My boyfriend and I are going to New Orleans this coming Friday, January 22nd - Wednesday, January 27th. We haven't really planned anything except for our dinner reservation the last night we are there at Commanders Palace and that was just a safety net I made today.

Anyhow, he's been 4 times and I have never been before. We are going because we binge watched Treme and I fell head over heals for the city.

In my typical last minute planning fashion I am overwhelming myself and have created a list of places to eat based on recommendations from friends and blogs I have read.

Out of this list can someone please tell me what to take off, what to add, where we must go and which meals I should have at certain restaurants?

Also, we are trying to stick to cheap breakfasts and lunches and have our dinners be between $35 - $50 with one nicer dinner at around $100 (maybe a little more). We are staying at the Hyatt French Quarter and will be relying on public transit and Uber/Cabs.
