Coffee & Tea

where is the best AFTERNOON TEA...thank you.

I've enjoyed the ambiance of Ritz Carlton Afternoon Tea on Michigan Ave. But the stale hard bread on the no-crust finger sandwiches are quite the turn off and make the freshness of the other offerings suspect.

Unfortunately the decaf tea is not served a la carte. And $21+tax&tip is rather steep to not completely enjoy oneself.

I'm not looking for caviar or foie gras. Also, cucumber finger sandwiches are completely unnecessary with a nice variety of small portion highly delectable sweets available.
