I've perused the boards and not quite seen the recommendations for which I'm seeking:
Going to visit London this spring with my wife and two boys (5 and 8). They are relatively well behaved and we regularly take them to fairly nice restaurants, but not extremely fancy ones and they aren't perfect.
I don't think we'll have time for multiple adventures but would really like a classic British high tea--if that's the proper term.
Any suggestions for the nicest setting, service, tea, and treats that I can get away with having kids at? Because we're not going to do this again, cost is not really a factor.
Central London preferably but as long as it's not too far out of the way, I don't mind a drive.
