Hi Everyone,
Some time ago I read an article about some places in the LA area that served traditional English afternoon tea complete with pastries, cucumber sandwiches, ect. I seem to remember there being a couple big well known hotels that do this as well as I think a small cottage in Pasadena. I also seem to recall the Hunnington (sp?)
Library also mentioned. Does anyone recall this article? I'd like to find it again. Or has anyone had afternoon tea somewhere in LA? With so many people wanting to go to Starbucks I thought going for afternoon tea with friends would be a nice, rather cultural alternative. I mean imagine being served tea in a beautiful setting by a guy in a tux and white gloves. How cool is that?
Thanks for any replies.
Cheers,
Marc
