I quickly tried the new African Market cafe on 1st ave, next to the old location of the Ragin' Cajun and was nicely impressed. With Harimbo now gone, it's a definite check-out for those craving Ethiopian/African foods. Lots of seating with a nice long window bench. I got the vegetarian sampler, which was a great assortment of dishes, from a cabbage stew to a few nice lentil dishes. The menu average is about $7, but the variety is worth the price. I'm going to go back and will give a better report later this week when I have a bit more time. As a nice side note, they have free African cooking classes- the next one is Saturday morning at 10 with a chef from Zimbabwe.
