Affordable dining in NYC

oh_lol | Jan 25, 201701:42 AM     14

Hi all,
I am back in NYC with a few friends in tow and they are wanting to be introduced into the world of food! (I'm so excited to convert them!)

The only issue is because they are starting out, they are absolutely not interested in high end dining.

We are open to both lunch and dinner, with no cuisine/dietary restrictions.
Must be casual dress attire (well nothing fancier than a button up shirt).
Can spend maximum $100 per meal, preference towards set menus.
Don't really want to go further south of SOHO or north of Chelsea.

Some places off the top of my head that fits the bill are:
-Gramercy Tavern
-Momofuku Ko
-Contra

Many thanks in advance!
