Any fan of good greek food should go to the Aegean Restaurant at the new location on Route 30. We ventured there last night and had a wonderful dinner of traditional lamb ribs, stuffed grapeleaves, pilaf and a really nice greek red wine. Still one of the best bargains around ! We wined and dined and tipped for under $ 65.00 for 2. The new building itself is another reason to go - the owners must have spent a fortune on the renovation. The open kitchen is the focus of the dining room - seating is multi-level and the soft beige walls and muted colors contrast to the starkness of the stainless steel kitchen and black etched glass that fronts it. Great lighting and soft greek music adds to the ambiance. There is a separate bar area that looks just as inviting. The only drawback we could find was that large glass windows looked out over the adjacent Burger King parking lot - ugh !!! maybe some privacy hedges in the spring will correct that.
