Hi. I just received a double burner All Clad griddle pan as a birthday gift this weekend. I have been wanting a griddle pan so was excited to receive it. I think it is a pretty piece but was wondering before I use it if there is a better griddle pan out there that I could exchange it for. I don't want the Lodge cast iron as I do not enjoy cooking if my pans, etc. are too heavy. I looked to see if Staub had something as I thought it might be more practical along the lines of cast iron but couldn't find anything. I love AC for my regular skillets but just decided against them when replacing my non-stick skillets because I didn't think the non-stick would hold up as well as others (I chose Scanpan). Then again, I only plan to use this for bacon and pancakes so is it really that big of a deal? Having said that I want something that is well constructed and will last a long time.
