Hi, I want to freeze my cake. I only need it to be stored for about 5 days. While I know freezing cake is OK, my dilemma is that I do NOT want to wrap it in plastic wrap. There's a delicate cream layer on top that just can't be touched, and I really don't want to finish the cake on the day of serving. I was hoping that I could simply put it in air-tight tubberware and then put it in the freezer. That would be OK wouldn't it? No freezer burn?
