Just took an author to this place before they had to do an interview on the World Service

Horrendously expensive and not really terribly good. The culinary equivalent of Kazuo Ishiguro. Insubstantial and believing in their own reviews and hype.

The food which is notionally Rustic is not prepared to any great standard and the rush to get us out at lunchtime when they were less than full was a little to obvious. The might have well have prodded us with sticks

A bill for £125 for lunch is a little rich for my blood

Howler, this is very close to you in the old Somerset House. Avoid like the plague and go to The India Club instead.
