Using Active Dry Yeast Instead of Instant - Help

Hi All,

I'm trying a new pizza dough recipe that calls for instant yeast instead of active dry...the recipe also uses room temperature water and chilled bread flour...So my question is, if I dissolve the active dry yeast in the water first and then add it to the the rest of the ingredients, will it work the same as instant?

Please advise..
