Acquia Oyster Bar in Vernon CT

New restaurant alert...
I went in for drinks and to scope out the place. It is considerably more upscale than you would expect in Vernon. However they still have some work to do to get their act together. I got the lobster bisque and frankly thought for the price, there was not enough substance. Tasted like overboiled lobster shells and lacked chunks. Fish cakes were good, but cool to the touch. Overall entrees were pricey, and menu needs some non-sefood appetizers. The decor is wonderful - plush leather seats, dark woods. I will try a meal there...
Anyone else been?
