"Sliders" have always been an East Coast phenomenon and are rarely offered this far West. (White Castles offer a strange burger that is much like a slider but is made with what appears to be suet and some type of bread product.) ACME Bowl, the new upscale bowling destination at Southcenter, offers sliders that will win you over to the dark side of a cholesteral soaked diet. These are perfectly cooked and carefully topped with a ring of red onion, lettuce and sauce. (The fries that accompany them are a Sysco infested product so order a salad instead--which may help with the guilt factor.) There is little chance that a round of bowling will reduce the effect of these; however, I suggest, for a great junk food experience, ACME scores a 300 with these greasy babies.
