Accommodation reccommendations in Piedmont

jbrownlee | Dec 9, 201601:11 AM     6

Hello,

I am visiting Piedmont and the Langhe for the first time with my wife in a couple of weeks time. After some great dining reccommendations on these boards (thanks especially to PH Rodgers, allende, henjef85, Johannabanana, jessicablock all whose writing has been particulary useful in planning our trip), we are particularly looking forward to eating at Il Centro, Da Bardon and La Coccinella.

I have found fewer accommodation recommendations, however, and was hoping somebody could help out. We are staying our first night in Alba, and have 4 nights after that we would prefer to stay in the country or in a village (we like the look of Morra, Neive, Monforte D'Alba). We prefer to stay somewhere where we can eat in the evening as well, as we plan to do most of our restaurant visits at lunch. We are open to agriturismo as well, but it seems most of these are out of the villages. Any recommendations for somewhere memorable but convenient to stay? Our budget is open, but just as happy staying in a family run B&B as a boutique hotel.
