After all these years parading up to the CT casinos and doing /lunch dinner up there, made a side trip beforehand to ABBOTTS. It was a pain in the keister to find-- i must have drove by the street at least 6 times-LOL!-.
Was second in line at noon and had:
Lobster roll-OHHHH Doctor! Yummy. 12$ 1/4 lb of lobster meat on a toasted hamburger roll, side of slaw, pickles--both very good BTW and a bag of Utz chips
Clear clam chowder 4$( known in that area as Noank Chowder-- but i always knew as R.I. chowder). OHHHHH Doctor!!!! That was yummy. That type of chowder is my FAV.
Corn on the cob-$1.50?? Very good as well.
A pepsi to wash it down.
Then onto the casino. Well i just should have driven my car off the docks into the water, the results would have been better. The dice tables were NOT friendly, slots only slightly better.
Did the dinner buffy at Foxwoods.
Standouts were the beer batter cod, and the short ribs-- sauce wasnt sickening sweet-, the tomato salad, corn with beans, spinach salad, and the chocolate mousse, and double chocalate cake.
Will make a trip there or to Costello's whenever in the area.
