I am going to Monterey/Carmel next weekend and we already have our Passionfish reservations. I have been reading about red abalone at several restaurants (Sardine Factory, Anton & Michels, Domenico's) and wondered if anyone has tried it. It seems quite expensive so I wanted to know if it was worth it. Any advice is appreciated.
Also any restaurant recommendations are welcome. We will be there Sat/Sun and Monday in Big Sur.
