Hi all. I finally made it to A16 last week for the hubby's birthday. We started out at Nectar for a little sparkling wine. Thanks to all who recommended it since the bar at A16 was incredibly crowded and a little stuffy when we got there (Tuesday evening).
We loved the food and ate a lot (!!) but, surprisingly, the item we liked least was the Margherita pizza. In my opinion, it was not nearly as charred as it should have been and the ingredients were so soupy that when the pieces were cut, they spilled out from the pizza onto the plate which made the pizza almost impossible to eat. The flavors were delicious so we managed but it seemed a tad undercooked.
Based on the rave reviews of A16's pizzas on this board, was this just an aberration?
(P.S. I'm pretty sure I could eat that burrata every day.)
