For the occasional splurge, consider 727 Pine, in the new Hyatt at 7th and Pine. We went there last night and had a very enjoyable experience. Because we were going to a concert, we decided to order off the appetizer menu. The seared foie gras, crab salad, and tuna tartare were excellent. The dessert menu is quite inventive, with the espresso souffle cake not to be missed. The pistachio biscuit was also quite yummy. Add that to excellent service and comfortable banquet type seats, and the evening was very nice! We're looking forward to ordering off the entree menu next! It's on the pricey side though--four appetizers, two desserts, and a beer and coffee came to $80 before tip. The portions were on the smallish side, but we felt that we got our money's worth.
