Hello, everyone. A friend & I will be going to a Mets day game soon, and we'll be looking for some good food near the #7 line after the game. From the posts on this forum, the Jackson Heights area seems to be a hotbed for all varieties of Latin American cuisine. All we need is a reasonably priced place with good quality food, vegetarian options, and not so high class that they can't handle a couple of scruffy unshaven baseball fans. So far I've heard good things about La Portena, Tierras Colombianas, La Pollada de Laura, El Chivito d'Oro, and the Arepa Lady. Any further insights from the vast knowledge base out there would be much appreciated. Thanks!
