7/25, "Feed Your People" Community Dinner & Panel Discussion with Local Chefs

Melanie Wong | Jul 16, 201804:53 PM     3

"Sharing a meal is one of life’s greatest pleasures and a powerful and intimate way to create community. My book "Feed Your People" offers big-batch recipes from big-hearted chefs and cooks for the foods we gather around.

Since the book is about bringing people together around the table, this experience will include a delicious selection of dishes cooked from the book as well as a panel discussion on "The Power of Creating Community Through Food". The panel will feature chef/cooking luminaries Tanya Holland (Food Network star and owner of Brown Sugar Kitchen), Preeti Mistry (Chef and co-owner of Juhu Beach Club), and Andrea Nguyen (food writer and cookbook author) and Sam Mogannam (Co-Founder Bi-Rite Family of Businesses and 18 Reasons)

Dinner from the book will include Chile Verde and Gujurati Chili (vegan option) as well as a main course salad and Texas Sheet Cake for dessert. Hosted at the Airbnb headquarters, we will dine at long tables, meet our neighbors, and learn about how to feed our people -- both literally and spiritually. Come join us!"

3-courses and wine & beer, $45
