Just came home from a wine tasting dinner at Mistral in Sherman Oaks. Rombauer wines with some of the most outstanding food that one could imagine. (No, I didn't have that much wine). The boneless short ribs in a wine sauce inspired one to know if the chef(ess) was of marriage mind. I have attended many wine tasting events at this restaurant but have also enjoyed the restaurant on it's own. It is one of the few Valley restaurants that I know of that draws from the other side of the hill. By the way, may have the best steak tartare in Los angeles.
