Any suggestions for a 50th bday dinner for two adults (the birthday boy and his wife, in her mid-40s) and their two teenage children (13 and 17) for next Sunday? I have planned amazing eating trips to NYC for myself and other adults, but have never tried planning for teens or a families, and my aunt and uncle asked me for suggestions and for some reason, I am having a hard time.
They would prefer Italian or American or what they have called "fusion" (although I don't know what type of fusion they are referring to) and want something that feels a little trendy, would have food that appeals to the adults and the teenagers and would feel nice enough for a birthday dinner (but not super fancy). They would probably not want to spend more than about 60-70 pp (not including alcohol). Any location is okay. They are coming from Toronto and haven't been to Manhattan in about 6 years.
Help would be much appreciated!!
Thanks : )
