Thanks to a series of fortunate events, my girlfriend and I will be in Paris later this week and I've been scrambling to come up with dinner options. She has never been to Paris and our mornings/afternoons will be pretty tight. We're looking at making the most of our evenings for wonderful food and will come back another time to take advantage of great lunch options.
We found an Airbnb in the 17th arr very close to the Villiers Metro stop.
We arrive in the morning and have a light schedule planned. Planning on Gare au Gorille for dinner since it's a few minutes walk from the Airbnb.
Booked Chez La Vieille for 19;30.
Open at the moment. Au Passage or Clown Bar look great, though the former doesn't have a table for 2 on Saturday and I haven't been able to reach the latter. L'Entredgeu also looks like a compelling option.
Open at the moment. We're going to Versailles that day and want to visit the Arc de Triomphe that evening (because lots of stairs will be just what we want after walking through a palace all day). Any suggestions for a relaxed/easy-going option that is somewhere between the Arc de Triomphe and our Airbnb?
Pierre Sang in Oberkampf 19;00.
Any advice for for Saturday and Sunday? I know, I know - probably the harder two nights of the week. We're looking for comfortable, casual options - I do not plan on bringing a suit and would not want to feel out of place. Cinq Mars and Bistro Paul Bert were also recommended to me but I don't know if their locations, compared to where we're staying, make them less feasible as options.
