went there tonight w/ 8pm reservations for two after only calling in earlier this afternoon at 5pm.
got there, got seated immediately, got a carafe of alsace and then me and dining partner both got the salmon tartare. she had the hangar steak entree and i had the roasted pork chop. liberal use of sauces. string beans were good, as were my purple potato.
for dessert, i had the flan and she had the fruit. all this for $25 prix fixe was a great deal, imo.
i also wanted an american coffee, but all they had was espresso in a regular sized coffee cup you would get at a diner.
nice space, nice decor, nice towel napkins.
would go back. first time to the red hook dining scene.
