36 Hrs in Downtown Seattle - Where to eat?

CdnLifeguard | Feb 5, 2009 09:45 AM

My fiancee and I will be heading to Seattle on Valenties weekend with another couple.
The guy from the other guy, along with my self LOVE food. I'd love to hear the best places to hit while in town.

There are a just a few conditions. We want good food, at an affordable price. As much as we both love high-end restaraunts, we are looking at more affordable food this time. it doesn't have to be cheap street food, but just a great value for you money.

We will be getting into Seattle not until around 9pm on the Friday, so I'd like to hit the ground running from there. The first night we will be staying at Pan Pacific, so some places in that area would be good.

Day 2, we will be staying around 7th & Vine, and we have all day to kill for eating food!

I'd like to find:
Affordable Oysters
Chowder
Seafood that is not overly dressed or done up, somewhere that just lets the seafood shine
Plus anything else that makes Seattle great.

I have done some research, and have come up with a list of places that I would like to hit.

Top Pot Doughnuts
Beechers
Pirosky Pirosky
Jacks (Maybe this is the best place for good seafood?)

What are your recommendations? Keep in mind, everything needs to be walkable.
