Tried Fuloon finally and tried the steamed beef (not sure why it's called steamed since it's in almost a soup w/ celery and cabbage), chopped chicken w/ chili, and cabbage w/ chili. All items had 3 pepper indicators on the menu and tasted it....tongue felt swollen w/ the chopped chicken which was searing hot :-)
The steamed beef was the best today..tender and sweet/spicy, but you had to fish it out of the soup. The chicken is Fuloon's version the szechuan "chicken in mountain of chili peppers" and unfortunately, the chicken pieces were tiny (under 1/2") and few and far between; they did use szechuan peppers though unlike some other place we've tried. The cabbage was ok, but we didn't expect it to taste like pickled vegetables since I'm not a fan of pickled vegetables.
Not bad, but I still prefer Sichuan Garden/Gourmet. We need to try a few other dishes though.
