3 Dinners in Alps Maritimes?

my wife and i will be returning for 3 nights and staying in the area...most likely menton in mid september. we previously stayed in menton and dined at mirazur and thought it was merely...ok. enjoyed the view more than our food to be honest.

im trying to get an updated list of the best places to eat in the area for an unforgettable meal...not just a nice view or a 2 star restaurant. id like 1 or 2 casual options and thinking of bar oiseaux as we ate at their other restaurant in nice. is bar oiseaux still a good choice? we skipped hostellerie de jerome last time but think this might be a good option this time. is it still solid? whats the chowhound opinion on flaveur? hype or worthy of its 2 stars? any other places in st jean cap ferrat or cap d'ail or eze? thanks in advance.
