3 dinners and 2 lunches in Chicago

foodie_from_montreal | Oct 23, 201603:30 PM

Hey everyone! I'm headed to Chicago the first weekend of December to accompany my husband who has a conference. We are 26-27, love trying new restos and bars. We are staying at the Kinzie hotel and are trying to decide on restaurants since I assume I should make reservations now. We like modern, high-end restaurants as well as cheap-eats, and pretty much all types of cuisines...the only thing we are not fans of is molecular gastronomy. We'd prefer to stay close to our area but would venture out for something really amazing. On my radar so far for dinner: Bavette's Steakhouse, GT Fish & Oyster and Smoque. For lunch I'm thinking Purple Pig and Eataly. We would like to stay below 100-150$ a person for dinners.
Looking forward to heating from you!

GT Fish & Oyster,
Smoque BBQ,
The Purple Pig,
Eataly Chicago,
Bavette's Bar & Boeuf
