My sisters and I are meeting in Chicago for a 3 day get-away. We live in NYC, SF and Boston and are all big foodies. We've heard a lot about the Chicago food scene and are interested in eating at some good places we won't find in the standard guide books. We're staying at the Talbott, but we will have a car.
We have varied, but eclectic tastes (and of course we need to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, plus a snack and maybe a drink). One of my sisters is partial to organic food, but that's not a requirement. I personally have a hankering for some good Mexican (not so great in NY). And of course, anything that Chicago does particularly well, or better than NY, SF or Boston, would be especially welcome.
Looking forward to hearing from all Chicago chowhounds.
