My never ending search for a very regional specialty of Austria has me has me completely frustrated. The Bosna is a wonderful, amazing regional specialty of lower Germany and Austria. It is a perfectly crisp, curry spiced sausage on a toasted bun. I have talked to dozens of "Austrian style" sausage makers in the US but they have either not heard of it or don't know how to make it. I go back to Austria every couple of years but that is clearly not enough. I have ordered a hundred pounds of sausage over the internet trying in vain to duplicate the experience. Any one have a clue where I can get something similar in the US??
If you can't help, is there something else out there, somewhere else, (foodwise) that you simply cannot live without?
