Does anyone else do this???

I am a little ashamed of this, but...
I have a funny little streak in me that makes me cook specific things for specific people. I know some people that are a little food snobby; not terribly, but just kind of "faddish". From me, those people are going to get pan fried chicken, homemade biscuits, gravy, all day green beans, chocolate cake and probably a congealed salad. Other people are plain eaters who would serve Hamburger Helper to guests. These folks are the ones that get unusual salads, meat with wonderful marinades, risotto, fabulous crusty bread. Well, you get the idea. It's like I take it upon myself to broaden their palates. A little arrogant, if you think about it. Like I said, I'm kind of ashamed of this.

So...question is: Do you do anything like this? Should I just switch the menus? (Although, I HAVE had some 'foodie' friends discover that they love homecooking and one 'plain cooking' friend who has really gone crazy for 'gourmet food' (her phrase)).
